Nigerians psychology will be affected negatively if the N5000 note is created

 

The Nigeria Labour Congress has condemned the introduction of the N5000 next year because it will affect the Nigerian workers.
General Secretary of the labour union Comrade Issa Aremu said in Kaduna yesterday that the bank should rather be more concerned about improving thevalue of the Nigerian currency as against others in the market.
The central Bank of Nigeria has announced their plan of introducing a N5000 note into the nigeria currency.There have been rumours that the face of 3 prominent Nigerian women who are no more but contributed in different areas of the Nigerian society have been picked to grace the new note. They are Mrs Funmilayo Kuti (Fela’s mother), Margaret Ekpo and Hajia Gambo Sawaba. All of them political activists.
