The story of how Cynthia Osokogu died is undoubtedly a really sad story.her
assailants confessed to have drugged her in order to be able to gang rape her and then steal her possessions without much resistance, and in the process end up killing her.
Her death is really a tragedy to both
her family
members and all her loved ones too.Cynthia who left home to(click the link below to read more)
do some
business and also to meet one or two friends wouldn’t have
imagined such an horrible fate to herself, thank god those guys were caught
or else nobody would have imagined that such fate befell her.
Now that those guys are in police custody everybody is pointing the
fingers at them as the bad guys, I can’t help asking if they are the only
bad guys.
The social media has lately been the field for any kind indecency or fraud any man
can imagine, some people can go as far as posting nude pictures of
themselves just to get a like on their facebook page, some will even
masturbate themselves for guys via video chating all in the name of having
fun, countless number of people have also being duped by fraudsters through the net.The innocent people who only log in to say hi to friends get introduced
to what they are not even expecting. I have a friend who abandoned her
page during the just concluded Ramadan fasting because people keep
posting dirty things on her facebook news feed.
According to the statement made by one of the suspects, their main intention
was to rape and rob their victims not to kill.Maybe Cynthia is just one of
those innocent ones that share suffer from the sins of the dirty social
network users, what if those guys became what they are as a result of too much of abuse, what if the real culprits are among the sympathisers? That’s why I keep saying even if those guys are arrested,
that dosen’t mean they are the only ones that has hand in her death, that’s why
youths should be really careful about the things they do on the social
networks and most importantly the friends they keep.May the soul of Cynthia
rest in perfect peace.
